Day 1...Kentucky Bound

Day 1 started right on schedule...we closed the door to the house right at noon! First stop, Cave City, Kentucky home of Mamouth Cave, Dinosaur World, Jellystone Park Putt-Putt, and the world-famous Wigwam Motel. We are spending the night at the Holiday Motel in Cave City; the Wigwam Motel was full. The Holiday has turned into an adventure in itself. There is little light, I have to stand in the window to get internet connection, and the sink and tub in the bathroom are lavender! But, this is what this adventure is all about - Americana at its best!
